Dr. Michelle Vereb was born and raised in Tampa, and is excited to be working near her family and friends. Dr. Vereb is a proud “double-Gator,” having attended the University of Florida for both her undergraduate studies and veterinary school. Following completion of veterinary school, Dr. Vereb sought additional advanced training. She completed a one-year Rotating Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Iowa State University, followed by a one-year Cardiology Internship at a private practice near Atlanta. Dr. Vereb has authored or co-authored 5 scientific research articles and 3 research abstracts in the subject of veterinary cardiology. Following her internships, Dr. Vereb returned to general practice, where she enjoys caring for pets and their families in all stages of life.
While Dr. Vereb loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, she has special interests in cardiology, internal medicine, emergency, and feline medicine. She is passionate about client communication, dedicated to practicing the highest quality of evidence-based medicine, and strives to be a lifelong learner. Outside of work, Dr. Vereb enjoys painting, traveling, doing almost anything outdoors (cycling, paddle boarding, hiking, horseback riding, etc), and spending time with her family and friends.
