I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and went to the University of Cincinnati for undergraduate studies, where I obtained a Biochemistry, BS degree. I was in human medicine prior to switching to veterinary medicine (the correct choice!).I have always had a passion for science and medicine. I pursued a career in veterinary medicine because it is a dynamic field that involves continuous learning, critical thinking, and problem solving. I love being able to help our sweet fur babies who don't have their own voice to stay healthy and happy! I have a special interest in cardiology, internal medicine, and ophthalmology.I went to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed my clinical year at the University of Florida, graduating in August 2021. While in veterinary school, I worked closely with the sea turtle and spotted eagle ray populations on St. Kitts. I have always loved the ocean and its creatures. When I am not at work, I am at the beach soaking up sunshine. I enjoy outdoor activities, such as running, hiking, beach volleyball, and walks by the water with my pup, Lady, as well as trying new places to eat with my boyfriend, Scott. Additionally, I love to travel - particularly to island countries so I can snorkel!I have 2 cats - Xena (a sassy torti) and Zuzu (a rambunctious tabby) as well as 1 dog - Lady (my coconut retriever).
