Dr. Alex Rose - Veterinarian

Dr. Alex Rose moved to the Tampa Bay Area after graduating from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (Virginia Tech) in 2025.

He grew up in Midlothian, Virginia, and attended James Madison University, where he majored in biology with a pre-veterinary medicine minor. He now lives in Clearwater, Florida with his fiancé who is also a veterinarian in the area.

Dr. Rose is a second-generation veterinarian, growing up working with his mother, who is a veterinarian in Virginia. He completed a clinical year externship with Partridge Animal Hospital while still in school, and fell in love with the clinic. The practice’s goals align with those of Dr. Rose’s, providing comprehensive care through superior medicine and surgery that focuses on patient wellbeing, catering to each individual client’s lifestyle and expectations. He is passionate about helping owners understand their pets' health so they can make informed decisions and provide the best life for their furry family members! His professional interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.

When he’s not at work, Dr. Rose enjoys spending time with his fiancé Meredith and taking care of their beagle - Sawyer, holland lop rabbit - Biscuit, and bearded dragon - Dova. He is a coffee enthusiast, loves cooking everything on his outdoor griddle, is an avid fisherman, and enjoys going to the beach! He is very excited to be living in Florida!
